My name is Edmund (Eddie) J. Song, and I am a published freelance photographer based in New York City right in the heart of Greenwich Village in Manhattan. I photograph almost anything, from fashion, jewelry, animals, scenery, cars, people, and artists at work. I primarily shoot with professional Canon EOS SLR gear, along with a collection of professional Canon lenses and lighting equipment. I prefer to shoot outdoors on location unless the client is willing to pay additional for a studio rental up front.

I’m an NYU alum, MBA educated (hence professional manner and running MNYC Photography as a business) and speak English, Korean, Japanese, and Spanish. My goal is to bring out the best from my photography subjects while maintaining a professional attitude and service to ensure the highest quality of work.

Also in my spare time, my wife and I love traveling taking scenic shots, especially in my neighborhood in the village. I’ve been to UK, Spain, Greece, Japan, Portugal, South Korea, Thailand, Mexico, the Carribean, as well as other locations in the US/Canada. My ultimate dream trip is to go on a photography expedition safari in Kenya, Madagascar, Australia, the Galapagos Islands, and a trek in Antarctica photographing penguins.
